On our wish list: “Lemon Cloud,” a perfume scent of citrus, bergamot, milk, and brown butter. Jordi Roca, pastry chef at Spain’s Cellar de Can Roca, created the perfume after developing a spray to enhance a lemony dessert.
Also cool? Roca had been doing the opposite — developing perfume-flavored desserts such as a mandarin orange granita with basil (Calvin Klein’s Eternity). He has done 24 edible perfume desserts (no Chanel No. 5, though).
This is much better than macaroni and cheese-scented car fresheners; perhaps an apple pie-inspired perfume is in order?
